Our Story

 Opal Moon is a long-established family-run business. It began life in 1991 as a small retail unit in DeCourcy’s Arcade, in the west end of Glasgow. Through the years Opal Moon has developed, grown and changed, but we have always remained true to our vision of holding a space where customers and visitors can enjoy a little bit of light, magic and inspiration. We work hard to fill our small shop with beautiful, magical and healing objects, and also with bright and positive energy. We hope that we have created a little haven of peace and tranquility for all who step through our door.

Visitors to our shop will be given a warm welcome by friendly and knowledgeable staff. As a team we each have our own individual areas of experience and interest, encompassing crystal therapy, aromatherapy, reiki, tarot, runes, meditation and mindfulness, as well as our own personal spiritual paths. We are happy to help with advice and information on any of the products or ranges in Opal Moon if required, but we are also happy to welcome you to take time to browse.

It is very important to us to operate as ethically as we can. We strive to only stock fair trade and ethically produced goods in our shop. We also care deeply about nature and Mother Earth. We re-use packaging wherever possible, and ensure that any packaging we need to use to protect your purchases is recycle-able.
